My agency plans to meet these objectives by (1) Improving focus on customers - by better understanding their needs, operating in their communities, assessing and educating them on their risks, and improving perceptions through positive relationships; (2) Managing the business effectively by gaining access to untapped markets, increasing exposure in growing demographic groups, better understanding how to promote product lines, and improving productivity and effectiveness through ensuring employee satisfaction; (3) Developing employees to their full potential by creating an environment that values creativity and expression, providing diversity training to improve communication and cooperation, offering career and personal opportunities to advance both hard and soft skills, and attracting and retaining qualified and dedicated employees.
Harnessing the talents and ideas of a diverse workforce allows my agency to achieve unsurpassed creative problem solving. An engaged workforce with access to development opportunities places the agency in a better position to mobilize new ideas in meeting the ever-changing needs of customers. There is no better way to accomplish this than through an informed understanding of the unique cultures and communities in which we operate.
